2019 FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 4
Week 4 Categories
A) Highest Scoring Defense (must start)
Winner: All Mahomies - NE D/ST - 33.4 pts
-Led by 4 interceptions, 5 sacks, 1 blocked kick & 1 interceptions just edging out the Bears defense who had roughly 28 pts. Quite a bit of a run here we have seen for All Mahomies dominance as this racks up $150 on the year in payouts and we are only a quarter of the way into the season....
B) Team with least amount of points scored (not including bench)
Winner: Injured And Afraid - 63.3 pts
I am glad the worst team got this category this week. Plagued by injuries and misbehaving wideouts this manager has run into a ton of issues to start the season. There was also a strategic maneuver made by this manager during Monday Night Football in which their matchup was out of reach and he ultimately decided to sit his starting QB to ensure he would receive the least amount of points scored this week earning $25 for being the suckiest team of the week - Congrats!
Hope this team can put this first quarter of the season in the past and get a nice win streak going..
C) High Scorer
Winner: To Khalil a Mackingbird - 161.4 pts
Edging out All Mahomies and opponent The Flemchise this week for top score by less than 10 pts, we saw a hard fought battle from a team who was 1-2 going into the week and looking to get back to .500 on the year. Led by the historic performance from Chris Godwin and the Bucs to defeat the Rams in L.A. and a 215 rushing yard performance by Fournetteflix & Chill, this team secured the victory with a continued dominant showing by the Bears Defense. An all around solid performance.
With this big victory, we now have half our league at 2-2 on the year. 2 teams are 4-0 on the year, one being dominant, the other team getting some luck with how poorly their opponents have performed against them this year.. Let's check out some of these stats below that Kratz was able to provide as our league fact checker and editor in chief:
Teams that are 4-0
Gurls Gone Wild leads the league in Points Against with only 405.5 points against. The next closest? 506.5 points against. Mendoza's team leads the league with 598 points against on top of having an injury plagued team. OUCH.
Gurls Gone Wild ranks 6th in Points For this year, one might say the easy strength of schedule is helping this team lead the way in win column.
All Mahomies leads the league in points for category by a 120 points. So he is outscoring the league by 30 points on a given week. The difference in points for from 2nd place to 0th place is only 95 points. Mendoza ranks last in points for and 1st in points against. Double OUCH. Kratz is ranked 2nd in points for and 9th in points against, 2-2 record does not show it.
A dominant performance so far by Mahomes and company. We still have a long season a head of us, let's keep it rolling ...
Going to switch it up a bit this week considering one of this week's categories was lowest score I am going to highlight the 2 lowest scorers of each team (not including kickers)
99 Problems But Mitch Ain't One vs Dude, Where's My Carson?
118.7 to 106.5
Worst Performers
An all around solid performance from Mitch and crew his team put up an all around high floor of points this week. Lead by Ertz from Wentz on Thursday Night Football I knew it was going to be a challenge to catch up during the games on Sunday.
1. Zach Ertz - 12.4 pts
2. Brandin Cooks - 12.3 pts
Another high floor hear, these were actually the two lowest scorers on this team. Cooks with 12.3 pts in a matchup against the Bucs that saw the total score in that game eclipse 90 points. A solid week for this team.
Worst Performers
1. Marlon Mack - 3.9 pts
Mack took a big dump in his pants this weekend and also exited the game in the 4th corner due to ankle injury. He'll look to stay healthy and forget about this dreadful performance against the Raiders.
2. JuJu Smith-Schuster - 3.4 pts
WOOF. 3 catches for 15 yards against the lowly Bengals is certainly concerning. The game script did not warrant any deep ball attempts to JuJu, as the Steelers elected to manage the game clock and not allow the Bengals to creep back in. Look for him and Mason Rudolph to continue to establish their connection as the season progresses.
Injured And Afraid vs Gurls Gone Wild
63.3 to 132.9
Worst Performers
1. QB Slot - left empty, 0 pts
I absolutely love and respect this move solidifying the lowest score of the week earning this manager $25. Turns out even if he did start Dalton he would've secured the lowest score as he put up a whopping 7.4 pts on MNF. Good riddance.
2. DK Metcalf - 1.5 pts
Imagine working out this much just to score 1.5 pts in fantasy |
Another game script that did not warrant the Seahawks from throwing the ball too much this game. They elected to run the ball quite a bit against the Cardinals and not allow Kyler and company to establish any type of momentum.
Worst Performers
1. Marquise Brown - 4.9 pts
2 wideouts totaled under 8 pts is not a great sign. Running backs for this team really pulled their weight this week and helped solidify the W against a lowly opponent.
2. Adam Thielen - 2.2 pts
- I sense some trouble in paradise ! With Diggs on the potential move to New England, and Thielen talking trash about Kirk Cousins to reporters I sense an offensive slide in the Vikings over the coming weeks.
Team Noradin vs Team Jahnsy Rico
93.3 to 114.4
Noradin - Change your team name or I will.
Worst Performers

1. Dak Prescott - 12 pts.@AaronRodgers12 hits @813Geronimo for the TD just before halftime! #PHIvsGB | #GoPackGo pic.twitter.com/XjpZXcLbhu— Green Bay Packers (@packers) September 27, 2019
I have him on here because you elected to start Dak (away game in New Orleans) over Aaron Rodgers who was at home against the worst secondary defense in the National Football League. Rogers finished the night with 38.1 pts and would've guaranteed a victory for this manager had he started him... I suggest selling one of these QB's otherwise you will continue to make mistakes as this one. Noradin would've beat Jahnsy Rico by 5 points this week had he not made this bone headed mistake.
2. Jared Cook - 4.2 pts
No Brees going to be a problem? Tough match up against Dallas probably let this one slide...
Honorable mention - Julio Jones - 9 pts. The Falcons suck.
Worst Performers
1. Larry Fitzgerald - 7.7 pts
Tough match up against Seattle, Larry still has a decent floor.
Click this link to hear Jerry Rice state he thinks Fitzgerald could pass him on receptions list which sits at 1,549 receptions. Larry currently has 1,326 receptions and is in his 16th year. Rice played for 20...

2. Josh Gordon - 6.8
something seems off with Gordon... That coupled with playing against a tough Bills secondary proved a tough one for this manager.. Also sitting Robert Woods who was playing against the Bucs almost proved to be costly, but Noradin is not smart and started the wrong QB.
All Mahomies vs White Claw Variety Packs
158.8 to 85.1
Worst Performers
1. Marquez Valdes-Scantling - 6.9 pts (nice!)
I hated everything about this pick up, not just the fact that he is a packer. This manager's team is too good to be trying to get cute with weekly waiver adds. Stick to your guns and let your team ride out a potential undefeated season. Just missed the high score this week, could have been another $25 if John Brown or Mohamed Sanu started in the flex spot.
2. Delanie Walker - 1.1 pts
Logged just 19 out of a possible 62 snaps on Sunday, catching just 1 of two targets for four yards. I would start shopping around for tight ends, you do not want to trust Mariota come fantasy playoff time.
Worst Performers
1. Julian Edelman - 5.7 pts
These 2 wideouts are basically must starts, but does no one pay attention to their opponents matchups? Edelman vs Bills and Odell vs Ravens proved to be tough match ups.
2. Odell Beckham Jr. - 3.7 pts
How do the Browns put up 40 points against the Ravens and Odell only comes away with 3.7 pts? Honestly, how does that happen?
Also he got choked out.
so Humphries can choke OBJ out? good shit @NFLOfficiating pic.twitter.com/s4k4SnSg0Z

152.8 to 161.4
Worst Performers
Two big teams this week put up massive points of over 150 and one comes away a loser.. tough
1. Phillip Lindsay - 6.6 pts
tough match up against the Jags and the Broncos suck.
2. Trey Burton - 3 pts
Puke. Only reason he started was because George Kittle was on a bye week, probably costing this team a victory and $25 payout for week's highest scorer....
I also might add this manager elected to start Russel Wilson over Jared Goff (90 points scored in the Rams Bucs game). I love the constant battle these manager's are having in starting top ranked QB's each week. Especially when Wilson can win you any given week and then let out a dud. Also makes for great blog material (go back and read first 3 roundups to see Ciara).
Worst Performers
1. Greg Olsen - 1.9 pts
Typical week off for Olsen. Gotta give the veteran some rest every now and then. He'll bounce back next week with 6 receptions for 110 yards.

2. DeAndre Hopkins - 5.4 pts
Imagine winning highest score for the league and your first round draft pick puts up 5 points? Hopkins seemse to be a hit or miss recently. I sense a lot of teams are uber covering the talented wideout. Him and Deshaun should continue to find holes' in defensive schemes to get Hopkins back on pace for his usual 100 yard games.

Preview - Next Week's Random Categories:
A) Team with most RB Receptions must start (All RB starters including flex)
I predict the Jahnsy Rico will win this, with both Gurley and Kamara on the roster you can't go wrong...

B) Team who has the most points scored against them
Probably David.
